The National Training Library for Adult Protective Services and Elder Abuse is an ongoing project that gathers training materials from around the country for loan and referral. The library has more than 140 holdings including printed material, Power Point presentations and CDs. Materials are available on loan at no charge.

OVC Launches Its National Conference Support Program
The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is pleased to announce the launch of its National Conference Support Program. OVC created this competitive program to support the efforts of public or private, nonprofit organizations hosting national conferences on victims' issues. Support will be made available on a competitive basis to eligible organizations. OVC has developed a comprehensive menu of conference support activities and resources that it will underwrite for successful applicants. Please note that requests for support must be received at least six months prior to the planned conference date. The State Conference Support Program
Through the OVC State Conference Support Program, eligible agencies and organizations may receive support on a reimbursement basis for costs related to speaker/trainer participation, meeting space, conference materials, audiovisual equipment, and scholarships to victims of crime, service providers, and allied professionals attending the conference. The State Crime Victim/Survivor Scholarship Program
The OVC State Crime Victim/Survivor Scholarship Program provides financial resources on a reimbursement basis to eligible agencies and organizations sponsoring state conferences and seeking to administer a scholarship program. The conference must focus on enhancing services to victims of crime and the scholarships are designated to help eligible victims/survivors attend the conference. IIn addition to these programs, OVC also provides professional development scholarships to those who work with victims of crime. The program provides up to $1,000 for individuals and up to $5,000 for multidisciplinary teams for victim service professionals seeking continuing education opportunities.
